CO2-atmosphere up to 20%, accurate temperature control up to 45°C and humidity limit control up to 97% rh without condensation combine to create inside the INCO2 a controlled and physiologically ideal environment for cell and tissue cultures growing in vitro.

For the INCO2, the tried and tested Memmert heating concept was again perfected: heating the working chamber from all six sides, along with the electronic humidity limit control, is decisive in preventing condensation from forming in the working chamber. An aluminium thermal conduction layer supports the optimal temperature uniformity, and serves as a heat accumulator if there is a temporary power failure. The turbulence-free interior ventilation ensures a constant and uniform atmosphere.
