PoleStar

PoleStar cold trap has been designed to suit the most demanding requirements and to ensure the highest flexibility for the condensation and recycling of solvents during the evaporation process.

The closed cycle cooling system cools the PTFE coated cooling coil down to -50°C. The cold trap has a special rapid defrost mode, which allows the removal of a 5mm layer of ice within a few seconds. PoleStar cold trap has a capacity of 3.3 liters (fluid). A stopcock permits easy draining. PoleStar cold trap is practically maintenance-free. Only the find at the backside of the instrument have to be kept clean from dust deposit.
Via the interface RS232 (option) PoleStar cold trap can be steered over the CombiDancer.
